CatSol is committed to best practices, professional development, and building rewarding long-term partnerships in healthcare staffing.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>Department: Operations / Clinical Support</p><p>Reports To: Director of Operations (CatSol)</p><p>Location: Remote — must be based in the United States; on-call coverage required</p><p>Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time, Non-Exempt (Hourly + On-Call Differential)</p><p>Schedule: Evenings, overnights, weekends, and designated holidays on a rotating basis</p><p><br></p><p>CatSol places RNs, LVNs, CNAs, and behavioral health clinicians into correctional healthcare facilities across California and other healthcare settings, where coverage cannot lapse outside standard business hours. The After-Hours &amp; Weekend On-Call Coordinator is the primary point of contact for clinicians, facility staff, and CatSol leadership during nights, weekends, and holidays. This role resolves callouts, shift confirmations, credentialing hiccups, and facility escalations in real time, protecting client fill rates and clinician safety when the core office team is offline.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Serve as the sole after-hours point of contact for active travelers, facility charge nurses/schedulers, and vendor management systems (VMS) portals.</p><p>Receives and respond to after-hours calls involving provider call-outs, no-call/no-shows, late arrivals, schedule changes, emergency removals from assignment, facility complaints, safety concerns, urgent staffing needs, and other time-sensitive situations. .</p><p>Document every after-hours incident in the applicable systems (ATS/VMS/timekeeping) with clear notes for morning hand-off to recruiting, credentialing, and account management teams.</p><p>Escalate high-severity issues (safety concerns, clinical incidents, facility disputes, potential contract risk) immediately per CatSol's escalation protocol.</p><p>Support timesheet and timekeeping questions for clinicians working weekend/overnight shifts, including troubleshooting basic payroll or stipend discrepancies.</p><p>Maintain the on-call log and produce a daily hand-off summary for the Monday–Friday operations and recruiting teams.</p><p>Uphold Joint Commission and CDCR/CCHCS compliance standards in all after-hours communications and documentation.</p><strong><p><br></p><p>Required Qualifications</p></strong><p>2+ years of experience in healthcare staffing, workforce scheduling, healthcare operations, or a similar coordination role.</p><p>Demonstrated ability to problem-solve independently under time pressure with minimal supervision.</p><p>Strong working knowledge of clinician credentialing basics (licensure, certifications, facility-specific clearances).</p><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable managing difficult or urgent conversations with clinicians and facility staff.</p><p>Proficiency with ATS/VMS platforms (Stafferlink) or willingness to learn CatSol's systems quickly.</p><p>Reliable phone and internet access to respond to after-hours contacts within defined response-time targets.</p><p>Availability to work a consistent rotating schedule covering evenings, weekends, and holidays.</p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><p>Prior experience supporting correctional facilities or behavioral health staffing (CDCR/CCHCS or similar state systems).</p><p>Familiarity with travel healthcare staffing compliance (Joint Commission standards, background screening, competency testing).</p><p>Experience with timekeeping/payroll systems and basic troubleshooting of stipend or OT discrepancies.</p><p>Success Metrics</p><p>Callout-to-confirmed-backfill response time</p><p>Percentage of shifts kept filled overnight/weekend vs. unfilled</p><p>Completeness and accuracy of hand-off documentation for the morning team</p><p>Escalation accuracy — right issues flagged, at the right severity, in the right timeframe</p><p>Compensation &amp; Schedule Notes</p><p>Compensation includes a base hourly rate plus an after-hours/weekend on-call differential.
