Hotel Front Desk Part Time Weekends ONLY

Areya Hospitality Management, a well-established and innovative firm focused on acquiring, developing, repositioning, renovating and operating hotels, is now seeking full time Front Desk Staff (7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm) and Night Audit (11pm to 7am), to join our Springhill Suites by Marriott -Chambersburg property, opening this Fall! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Handle guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible (15%). Pre-register, block reservations and take same day reservations and, when necessary, future reservations following hotel rate structures, discounts and sell strategies (15%). Handle guest check ins/check outs in accordance with hotel credit/cash handling policies in an efficient and friendly manner (50%). Resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, in-house events, directions, local attractions, safety deposit boxes, etc. (15%). Cancel room reservations according to procedures (4%). Walk customers in a professional and courteous manner according to procedures (1%) Perform other duties as directed. HOURS: Variable. Primarily evening and third shifts available, however times may vary based upon need including a certain amount of weekends and holidays regularly throughout the year as needed.
