About the Role We are seeking a highly observant, organized, and proactive Part-Time Vacation Rental Field Operations Associate to ensure our downtown Nashville properties are fully prepared for guest arrivals. This role requires more than checking items off a list. We need someone who notices when something is missing, damaged, out of place, or not meeting our standards—and takes the initiative to speak up and help make it right. The ideal candidate takes pride in the details, anticipates potential guest concerns, communicates issues clearly, and follows through until they are addressed. This is a part-time, field-based position requiring travel between vacation rental properties in the downtown Nashville area. Hours typically range from 15 to 30 per week, depending on occupancy, seasonal demand, and company needs. Weekend work is required. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-arrival property inspections
- Confirm that each rental meets our cleanliness, presentation, and readiness standards
- Notice and report details that others may overlook, including damage, missing supplies, maintenance concerns, and presentation issues
- Take initiative to correct minor issues when possible and promptly communicate anything requiring additional assistance
- Follow up on reported concerns to help ensure they are resolved before guest arrival
- Keep inspection notes, photographs, reports, and assigned tasks accurate and organized
- Ensure properties are properly stocked and ready for check-in
- Recommend practical improvements that could enhance the property or guest experience
- Complete minor maintenance tasks, such as clearing sink or bathtub drains and replacing batteries or light bulbs
- Troubleshoot basic issues involving Wi-Fi, televisions, cable, and other property technology
- Deliver supplies and complete local errands as needed
- Communicate clearly and promptly with the operations team
- Help resolve time-sensitive property issues before guests arrive
Schedule and Hours
- Part-time position
- Approximately 15–30 hours per week
- Shifts are typically scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but start and end times may vary based on business needs
- Hours will fluctuate based on occupancy, seasonal demand, and company needs
- Weekend availability and regularly scheduled weekend work are required
- Additional flexibility may be needed during busy periods and high-volume arrival days
