Rankin County – Custodial Worker

We are hiring substitute custodial workers in Rankin County School District. No previous experience is required! Remember that school district employee who made a difference in your life? Now it’s your turn! Custodial workers are essential in ensuring students continue to learn and grow every day.

Minimum requirements:

• HS diploma
• 18 years of age for middle/elementary school
• 21 years of age for high school

Pay Rate:

• Substitute Custodial Worker: $9.50/hour

Custodial Worker Responsibilities:

• Assume duties of the district custodian in accordance with school district rules, and Kelly policies
• Comply with school Safety Manual Rules and Regulations and OSHA requirements
