Remote Part-Time CSR - Weekend Coverage - KY Only

Small Pet Select is looking for two reliable, customer-focused Part-Time Customer Support Representatives to join our remote Customer Support team with an emphasis on weekend coverage. Experience with or a genuine interest in small pets is especially valuable to us. Many of our customers are passionate rabbit, guinea pig, and other small-pet owners, so firsthand familiarity with small animals and their care is a definite plus.

We are currently hiring for two schedule options:

• Thursday through Sunday
• Saturday through Tuesday

Both positions require consistent Saturday and Sunday availability. We're looking for one person for each schedule, so applicants are welcome to indicate which schedule they prefer or if either would work for them. What You'll Do You'll support Small Pet Select customers primarily through email and customer support tickets, helping resolve questions related to orders, shipping, products, subscriptions, and other common customer needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Responding to customer emails and support tickets
• Resolving common customer questions accurately and efficiently
• Assisting with order, shipping, product, subscription, and account questions
• Following established customer service processes and resources
• Identifying situations that need to be escalated to another team member
• Providing friendly and thoughtful service consistent with Small Pet Select's customer-first approach

Schedule We anticipate approximately 5–6 hours per day across four days, or roughly 20–24 hours per week. The anticipated coverage window is around 11:00 AM–5:00 PM ET, with some flexibility in the exact start and end times for the right candidate.

Available schedules are:

• Thursday through Sunday
• Saturday through Tuesday

Consistent Saturday and Sunday availability is required for both positions. What We're Looking For

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Personal or professional experience with rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, or other small pets is strongly preferred
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong judgment and problem-solving ability
• Reliable weekend availability
• Ability to work independently and stay productive in a remote environment
• Comfortable learning and working across multiple systems and platforms
• Able to follow established procedures and recognize when an issue should be escalated
• Flexible and willing to help where customer coverage is needed

We're particularly interested in someone who wants a consistent part-time role and can become a dependable member of the Customer Support team rather than someone looking for short-term or temporary work. Compensation $18.00 per hour Location This is a fully remote position open only to applicants residing in Kentucky.
