Sanding Technician- Weekend

Job Title: Sanding Technician Position Reports To: Sanding Lead Status: Full-Time Schedule/Hours Expectation: Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week) 5am-5:30pm Location: Gunnison, UT Position Summary The Sanding Technician is responsible for preparing all stock components for the painting process. This position requires the ability to follow instructions, perform repetitive tasks with consistency, and maintain high-quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works efficiently with their hands, and can manage multiple tasks while meeting production goals. You will learn the various stock configurations and preparation processes required to move products successfully to the next stage of production. Required Outcomes To Excel In This Role, You Must

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate a sandblaster safely and effectively.
• Operate orbital sanders and other sanding equipment.
• Learn and identify different stock configurations.
• Perform required preparation processes for various stock types.
• Meet daily production and quality quotas.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in clean working condition.
