About the role Be the welcoming first impression for residents, families, and visitors in our community. You’ll handle the front desk, phones, and guest experience—creating a warm, helpful, and efficient environment. What you’ll do

• Greet and assist residents, families, guests, and business partners
• Manage phones, messages, and front‑desk email with professionalism
• Maintain first‑impression areas and support event setup/logistics
• Respond to resident requests and coordinate services
• Support community records, deliveries, and basic administrative tasks
• Promote a hospitable atmosphere that reflects Highgate’s values

Skills & attributes

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Confident engaging with seniors across varied needs and abilities
• Proficient with MS Office; comfortable with phone and email etiquette
• Observant, compassionate, and proactive in resolving needs
• Team player who builds positive relationships; adaptable and reliable

Relatable experience

• Concierge, front‑desk, hospitality, or customer‑facing roles
• Experience in assisted living, healthcare, hospitality, or restaurants
• Volunteer work or roles serving vulnerable populations
• Multi‑tasking roles balancing people needs with administrative tasks

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• 1+ year in high‑level customer service
• Current negative TB test
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Good time management; able to work independently
