POSITION ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Weekend Production Coordinator will be responsible for leading a small team of weekend shift team members in Safety, Quality, Efficiencies, and manufacture of our lighting products for our customer base. Weekend Shift hours are Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, (with flexible option for full time employment) Must be willing to work on day shift to complete your training.

Primary duties:

• 80% of time working on Production Lines, 20% of time Supervision (will change as we grow)
• Motivate employees through leadership
• Anticipate issues, implement solutions, and communicate to management
• Maintain good manufacturing practices, and be able to identify quality concerns and inferior products per our requirements, and communicate them timely
• Maintain and monitor parts movement from warehouse to production floor
• Train team members using our training guides
• Responsible for guidance and direction of employees to achieve daily production goals
• Be proactive to eliminate downtime, create and modify production schedule to meet customer demands
• Support Continuous Improvement projects
• Daily communication to Production Manager on deviations to daily schedule and what corrective actions were taken/need to be addressed
• Other duties as may be necessary or as requested by Management

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS :

• 1- 2 Years Manufacturing / Production experience a plus
• Supervisory, Communication and Excel Skills
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally during the shift
